Celestial Chameleon

The crescent is rising,
A silvery horn.
It´s up there, enticing,
That heavenly thorn.

It´s waning to nowhere
As time passes by.
Yet, it won´t escape here;
It´s trapped in the sky.

Now it is gone, though
It is always there,
And soon its occult glow
Will once again flare.

The light of this mirror
Grows stronger tonight,
And while it burns clearer
My visions ignite.

It´s peaking, perfected,
The cycle complete.
The sunlight reflected
Is now more discreet.

Those summers

How many nights have I spent staring out into nothing? A lot of things happened this year and I'm not sure which to care for and which of the less. I always enjoyed the sunny days, but rain happens way too often nowadays. These are the reasons why I lost my hope for humanity and wish to let go of my human body and become a dolphin, and swim freely in the blue lagoon.

Anyway, the other day while looking through old clothes I found something I did not expect to find there. A pair of stay-ups. They may appear as a normal pair of netstockings to most people, but to me they bring back good memories. These days when I put on shiny red outfits and my friends still dyed their hair red and my boots were red, as well. Red. I think red must be the color of the past. A friend told me that apparently red is a color that men like, don't they? I never looked into it, and all I remember is women screaming. Screaming in the good way.

Red lipstick, boots, and short skirts. Those summers, do you remember?
So much of everything and nothing in the air.
